 If you have a lot of experience in online communities, then you will have heard of the term 'lurker'. For those that have't, a lurker is someone who frequents a chatroom, blog or message board but does not 'participate' in terms of making comments or posts. They are not malicious people...they simply just are on the quiet side and don't wish to participate actively. I count myself as a lurker for the most part I honestly don't see what the big deal is that someone views your profile or blog and doesn't interact...blocking them for not commenting seems a bit extreme.
