'The birth of Christ

The term Christmas, means Christ's mass, observer December 25th. The first recorded date of Christmas being celebrated on December 25th 336AD, during the time of the first Roman Emperor Constantine ( he was the first Christian Roman Emperor). A few years later, Pope Julius 1 officially declared the birth of Jesus the 25th of December.
*Shepherds were suppose to be in the fields, watching their flocks at the time of Jesus birth. (Luke:2-) Shepherds were not in the fields during the winter months. It was believe that Jesus was born in the summer months.
* Jesus parent came to Bethlehem to register in a Roman census, (Luke:2:1-4) Such censuses were not taken in winter, when temperatures often dropped below freezing and roads were in poor condition.
It was during this time of temple service that Zacharias learned that he and his wife had a (Luke:1:8-13). Elizabeth conceive John (The Baptist) (Luke:1:23-24). Assuming John's conception took place near the end of June, adding 9 months to bring us to the end of March, for John's birth. Adding another 6 months for Jesus. (John and Jesus born 6 months apart) so "The birth of Christ" was in September!
