The Profile Perplexity
The Profile Perplexity A recent post by another blogger had me re-evaluating my profile on here in it's current state. While I am happy with what I have written, it really doesn't tell the whole story of me. Or least, it doesn't tell enough of the story that I want people on here to see (and learn the rest in person.) So it is obviously missing something. A little smidgen of writing that lands this thing in the happy hunting ground. Nothing needs to be or will be deleted from it. But staring at it for the past two hours has yet to reveal that elusive nugget of golden information. Let's see if I have any better luck in the next few hours Speak the Truth, or make your peace some other way Follow CaptainDilfCT Superhero or pirate? You decide Sorry, I Was Thinking Again |

I can not view any profiles, so do not know what yours looks like. Advice I read says that it needs to be short, about 4-5 paragraphs. ( I failed on this one with mine, but it is as short as it can ever be, believe me, after many edits ) It needs to be personalised, avoiding things like 'I like to go out and have fun'. Tell them exactly what fun is for you. State as clear as you can what it is you looking for. Make them interested and intrigued to know more of you. If humor is your thing, don't tell them, show it. Mention your good habbits and some bad ones. Be real, and realistic. Face pic, with a bit of humor, your blog, and a few details about you, should work. Look at it from a womans eyes. What would you of liked to see, if you were a woman and clicked on your profile? Make sure you tell the truth. Pick the common stuff from what a woman might like to see, and stuff that you have, or do, or want. Whatever you do though, internet scientists say the average time someone takes to scan a page is 5 seconds! After this comment, can you see why I failed to make my profile just 5 paragraphs? Best of luck. (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group
